Mini Sharma

APRN, PMHNP

Mini is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
trained to provide psychiatric assessments, evaluations, medication management, and
psychotherapy to people struggling with various mental health conditions. She has been a registered nurse since 2007 and did her undergraduate studies at the College of Staten Island,

The City University of New York. In 2023, she graduated with a Master of Science in nursing
from Regis College, Massachusetts, to become an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse,
PMHNP.

As a Registered Nurse, She has worked in various inpatient and outpatient settings in New York and Vermont and has extensive experience in psychiatric mental health and substance use treatments and conditions. Before passing the PMHNP boards, she completed clinical education in various outpatient settings in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She is multilingual, speaks
English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, understands similar dialects, and is currently learning basic
Spanish.

Mini is caring and kind and strives to provide nonjudgmental, empathetic, professional care to the diverse population she serves. Her thoughtful treatment plans involve clinical prescriptive guidelines, evidence-based practice, clinical insight, and client-centered values, goals, and needs. She strongly believes in the mind-body connection and working in partnership with clients to enhance function and quality of life so they can live their best lives. Her holistic approach involves medication management only when absolutely necessary, along with psychoeducation, lifestyle modifications, and healthy coping skills. She looks to empower people to help find their inner strengths and resources on the journey to improve and manage their psychiatric mental health.
